WOW, where do I even start! I recently got back from a wonderful visit from my good friend Bryanna.
I was so excited that our little ones would finally meet!
The first day together we all went to the pool at the resort. The boys where so cute! It was so much fun! Then that night I watched the boys while Bryanna and John finally got a date night. Wednesday we then went to Disney. On Friday Bryanna and I had a girls day, but I will post more on that later.
Now to the spoiled part! lol
It was not my Birthday, or anything special, BUT Bryanna came with the most AMAZING gifts! Above is a photo of the most amazing ruffle shower curtain, THAT SHE MADE!
eeeeekkkkk! I could not believe it! If you have seen any of my below post, I have been slowly redecorating my house. One of the rooms I was eager to redecorate was our guest bathroom. I have tried a few times to work on it, but never followed through because I could not find a shower curtain I liked. I could not believe it! It was perfect! So I gladly through out the yucky dark Burgundy and green decor and went with a pretty gray blue.
I just LOVE IT! I begged my hubby to let me white wash the oak, but he refused. :( It's ok though I bargained with him and he compromised on something else I have been wanting to do.
I found a super cute wire basket for magazines and some kind of vintage box marked with a dairy company that fits great for a trash can.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
She also made me this super AMAZING throw!! It is made up of different vintage linen and hankies with embroidery. It is truly STUNNING!
. . . . . AND
She also made me this sweet cuff! And she got me this adorable Juicy Couture charm!
WELL, of course I did have a few things I put together for her. We decided we would celebrate her birthday a little early, so I put together some things.
I promised her I would make some French Macarons. I have had a lot of fun lately making these, so I was happy I would be able to share them with her. They were pink, purple, and a light mocha color. I filled them with Cinnamon buttercream, Lemon cream cheese frosting, peanut butter chocolate, and espresso frosting. They where so good!
I also made her a blue rose garland like the one I will be teaching at Karen's Beauty in Blue event (more on that later too).
She also left subtle hits te he he of wanting some Little Red Ridding Hood jewelry.
I loved how this bracelet turned out! I think of all the pieces of jewelry I have done so far, this is my favorite!
I just thought it was such a unique piece. I love this vintage clasp!
It has lots of texture and included soldered, and resin charms.
I also made her this necklace. I really like the gnomes! I am sure Little Red Ridding Hood must have past a few mushrooms and a gnome or two in her wanderings through the woods!
And speaking of Gnomes, she also had this adorable little Juicy Couture gnome on her Birthday wish list. Isn't he darling?!
Lastly I made her this handbag.
The lining is a unique linen fabric I found at a antique shop.
I had such a wonderful time, and I can't wait to share with you photos of our day out together and all the neat places we went.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

What a wonderful way of spending time with a friend - spoiling one another, having your boys get together and doing some catching up over macaroons :-) Blissful!

Oh wow oh wow oh wow...what an absolutely fabulous time away and even more amazingly gorgeous gifties your girls traded.
Hard to pick a favourite from all of those but if I really really had to, I am thinking your Red Riding Hood bracelet and necklace are beyond amazing!
Thanks for sharing even if I am now insanely jealous!
