Spring is a time for fresh starts! Right? Fresh green, baby bird chirps, and budding flowers. As much as I hate saying goodbye to "My Artful Adventures", and am happy to celebrate a new beginning at my new blog "An Artful Adventure".
I am excited about all the new features I was able to add with my new blog. For example the navigation bar at the top. I am now able to post and share exciting specifics that can be accessed quickly in just one click. I am also excited about now being able to offer a newsletter!
If you are interested in receiving email updates regarding sales in my shops, coupons, information regarding tutorials, freebies and events, you can now sign up for my newsletter by clicking on the "Subscribe" button in the navigation bar. Also there in a box located to the bottom left in my sidebar. They both accomplish the same thing.
I have also set my blog up so that now the free tutorials I have done on my blog can be accessed by clicking the images to the right in my sidebar under "tutorials". Then on the left towards the bottom there are links to different freebies I have posted as well.
Really all in all I am really enjoying my new typepad blog, except for one thing. I am really REALLY super SAD to leave behind my blogroll! So sad! I looked and I looked for some sort of equal substitute, but unfortunately was unable to find one. So it is with a heavy heart I say goodbye to my beloved blogroll!
I have however listed all my favorite blogs in alphabetical order to the right in my sidebar. I think that as hard as it is to loose my blogroll, all the new features make up for it. I was also glad to see there is still a "follow me" option, and I LOVE the search feature as well.
So there you have it, all the new ins and outs of the new blog. Blah Blah, right?! On to the good stuff!
So . . . Originally I decided to do this giveaway in celebration of reaching over 600 followers on my blog! Wow even after reading my own writing, really I find it hard to believe! I would never have imagined! I'm so truly humbled and honored! THANK YOU to each and everyone!
I know with my decision to start my new typepad blog I am now forced to start all over again. So I want to extend a personal welcome to everyone who has so graciously followed "My Artful Adventure" to hop on over and follow my new blog "An Artful Adventure". I promise you it will be just as great!
In celebration of reaching 600 followers on my old blog, I will be giving away this cute not so little hot air balloon assemblage! It measures about 24 inches tall! When I returned home from my Marie Event, I was eager to give Jenn's "Vive La Reine" class a whirl. I decided to give it an Spring theme. The bottom is decorated like a cake and features a bunny on a cupcake. Which was inspired by a tag I received from Jenn. The balloon is embellished with all sorts of Spring things.
The images used are from a new collection of Spring background collage sheets I created. You can check them out by visiting my shop, or clicking on the above image.
For a chance to win all you have to do is leave me a comment in this post by April 10th! I will then randomly select a winner and post the results on Monday the 11th. If you decide to be so kind as to do a post on your blog letting others know about the giveaway, post another comment with a link to your blog and I will give you another entry to win!
I also wanted to share a freebie with you! The below image is for you to keep! Please feel free to use it in your personal and swap art! You can also use it in artwork you sell, but only if it is handcrafted and only a portion of the creation and not the majority.
