All of the following lovely photos are brought to you by the talented
Tiffany Kirchner Dixon The Fancy Farmgirl.

Sunday was class day. We started off bright and early with
Jennifer Hayslip's class.

Jennifer put together these lovely pink bakery boxes with lace and a plume on the outside. They where lovely. I was very curious to work with the chicken wire to form the balloon since I have never tried it before. I helped a few of the girls, and I am actually working on creating this project in my free time at home. I will have to show you what I come up with when I finish.

I am NOT a morning person! Nope not at all! So I really thought it was cute how the girls jumped right in and started creating. Everyone really seemed to enjoy the class.

It was so neat to see everyone's different take on decorating their Marie and balloon. There was LOTS of glitter involved.

After Jenn's class we stopped for lunch. It was so very lovely out! The resort served a house salad, individual plates of salami, turkey, and ham with potato salad. They also included a variety of bread to make your own sandwiches.

After lunch was
Heidi Wallingford's class from Birds of a Feather.

Heidi created this adorable Petite Patisserie box.

I was excited that Heidi showed me how to make those beautiful crepe paper ruffle rosettes.

I just love this photo of
Sherry! She looks so blissfully happy every photo I have of her crafting.

After Heidi's class I was up.

My class was on how to make a statement necklace. I showed the girls a few ways to make rosettes.

This was my first time teaching a class like this. I use to teach cake decorating, but that felt different. Needless to say once it came down to it, I was a tad bit nervous.

After awhile though I started to feel comfortable. Everyone's work was so lovely. After class we had a French buffet for dinner, which was so yummy! Coq Au Vin, Dauphonise Potatoes, Wine Poached Salmon with Black Truffles, and many more yummy treats. Tiffany took lovely photos of everything. Over 600 photos to be exact lol.

I would love to share them all with you, BUT that would be a lot of photos for just a few post. So be sure to check out more in the Flickr group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/marieevent

To conclude the day we raffled off some of the extra special prizes like Jenn's cake and
Amada's lovely egg. It was a wonderful full day of classes and friends.
I would like to share one more post with you of some of the treats I got, and was given during the event. So check back in a couple of days for the last post regarding the event.

such a treat, peaking in on your world this way! Thanks for the fun show!Rose
