Flea Market Glistening Finds

I know I am a bit behind sharing photos of my treats from my recent Mount Dora Extravaganza, but we have STILL been fighting this cold that has rotated around the family since OCTOBER! I know a cold and sinus issues are not TOO BIG of a deal, but goodness 2 months of it is EXHAUSTING! Just when we have a day or two cold free, one of us starts to sniffle and cough again.

OH WELL, I guess that is what happens when you have a little one in preschool. Tis the Season . . right?

OK FLEA MARKET STUFF, get your glasses, because these sparkles will blind ya!

Well . . . as you can see from past post at this market, most my finds are laces and ribbon. WHICH IS GREAT! HOWEVER, would you believe this year I could not find ANY great deals on trims and ribbon. Which was a little disappointing, but instead I found LOTS. . .

AND LOTS . .

of GREAT deals on VINTAGE JEWELRY!

Some of the deals BLEW MY MIND! Seriously. I have yet to find deals on jewelry in this market, and the deals I found where steals! I actually high tailed it out of there watching my rear view mirror hoping the cops weren't following. LOL ok maybe not REALLY but you get the point!

I found these two very pretty rosaries for $5 each. I thought that was a GREAT deal. Normally I can only find them for MUCH MORE than that.

Another one of my favorite deals where these beautiful clasp and rhinestone findings. The majority of them where taken off lovely glass pearl necklaces purchased at LESS THAN A DOLLAR a piece! Ekkkk I loved this deal!

I got a great deal on these pretty rhinestone buttons too!

I would have to say that is a lot of sparkle! There was this one booth that was HUGE it was just a bunch of boxes with what looked like junk at first glance! However, once you got digging through there where some really really nice treasures inside.

I managed to find a big pile I was in love with. Nothing was priced. I asked the man how much as I held my breath. He started to count and then just threw it in a bag and said "Just give me $10 for all of it". I tried to compose myself as I said "Oh, ok. Sounds good." as calmly as possible. WHAT A DEAL!

And would you believe this is not even all of it?! It's not! I actually have set aside about a quarter of it for something special to be revealed later.

I really loved these bracelets! I got deals on all of them. The pink one was in a set with earrings, a ring, and pin for $5 total! The second Rhinestone bracelet I LOVE! It's signed. I threw away the tag and don't remember who, but the lady had a vintage jewelry book there with the artist who made it. It was marked originally much higher then I was wanting to spend. I am sure it was worth the price because it sounded reasonable, however it was at the end on the day and my allowance was quickly dwindling.

The lady cut it over half off, AND because I purchased other things from her, she told me to go pick out 2 pairs of rhinestone earrings for free! I was so excited!

It was a bad day for lace, but a REALLY good day for vintage jewelry finds. Here are a few of my favorite finds.

I love this cameo! The soft mint green color is just so very pretty!

I thought this was so sweet too! I loved the blue color, and the bow is so cute.

Lastly, these are my favorite rhinestone finds.

I checked with a lot of the vendors who had great deals, and they WILL BE at Webster in February when I take the girls at the Marie event over to the market! Yippe!
