It was my first time flying, and I was a bit nervous, but I was surprised how smooth it went! I was happy to greet Bryanna at the Tulsa airport. On our car ride out to her house, she opened a bag and inside was CUPCAKES! Prior to leaving for her house I was craving Strawberry or Lemon cupcakes. She brought me the most yummy cupcakes! It was such a treat.
When we got there we exchanged some gifts. I brought her some Birthday gifts, and her Blythe dolly. A little while ago we agreed to do a Blythe doll swap. The rules where to purchase at least one outfit, one handmade item, and 5 other items for your dolly. I forgot to take pictures of everything I sent, but below is a before (to the left) and after photo of Bryanna's dolly. I went with a fairytale/little miss red ridding hood feel.
Bryanna spoiled me with so many lovely treats! She made me the stunning ruffle bag above.
This beautiful ruffle apron! She is going to make me another ruffle bag with this same blue rose fabric that is in this apron. Ekkkk thanks again Bry!
I saw this beautiful carpet bag on one of her blog post. I LOVE IT! I was so excited to find out she made it for me! This bag is so soft and pretty.
And this hauntingly adorable reversible apron was for me too! So spoiled!
After we exchanged gifts and ate a super yummy dinner, we decided to pull out some crafting things. Bryanna went into the closet to get something and I heard her say "oh crap". Not a yell, not a scream, just noticeable that I asked if everything was ok. She stepped on a needle! She told me she thought some of it was still in her foot. How collected! They would have heard me 5 houses down lol.
YEP! As you can see in the X-Ray above, it's in there all right! I could not believe it! Despite the GAZILLION med's they want her to take, she still insisted on going out with me the next day.
She took me to an awesome cute little restaurant for lunch and some adorable shops. I really liked going to "Feather your Nest". What a beautiful shop! It was all decked out for Halloween, and full of spooky treats.
After that she took me to "Bliss Cupcakes", OH MY OH MY! This is the place she got the cupcakes for me to enjoy on the way home from the airport. SO SO GOOD! Let me tell ya we ate so much cake. lol Oh my did we ever eat so much cake.
After that she took me to the neatest store that had all sorts of fun vintage clothing! I found all sorts of wonderful things! I was sure to get pictures right away to share before I took my scissors to everything.
We had such a wonderful day shopping! I got to go to Hobby Lobby, well . . . actually I got to go to three lol. I found these really cute baskets I wanted. I got other treats too, but Bryanna is shipping me a box home of everything that did not fit with my luggage.
That night we where up until around 1:30am crafting! We made really cute resin pendants, and a bunch of polymer beads. Below is a photo of some of the ones I created. Bry made adorable day of the dead skulls! She can't locate her camera at the moment, but I am sure she will get pictures once she does.
The next day we took it easy! We went to lunch and Hobby Lobby. We spent the rest of the day crafting. The day really flew by!
I had so much fun shopping and creating with Bryanna and meeting her family. Her son JJ is adorable, and I have never been around birds before and she that the sweetest little baby birds there. The "tweet tweet" was so soothing. lol I could not believe what a kind and wonderful hostess Bryanna was even through her pain and discomfort! Bry I hope you get well soon and that needle comes out! Thanks so much for letting me stay in your lovely home!
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my blog!

Cats are not meant to fly.....anyway.....so much fun and so much eye candy....and cupcakes....oh geez....she just slobbered all over the screen when she saw all the cupcakes.....I am not believing a calm comment was in proportion to the needle in the foot!?! That makes my whiskers curl just looking at the picture. But you said the needle is still in there?!?!?! Oh dear. Send the poor girl some cupcakes. Or something....makes me want to jump up on the bed and never come down for fear of a lurking needle! Thanks for sharing your visit with us - had a grand time!Purrs!Romeo and her

What wonderful friends you both must be. I cant believe the gifts...like Christmas! And the cupcakes...I am dying for a cupcake right now! We are in Croatia for the wedding of our exchange student son. His sister has a bakery here and brought me four cupcakes the first day. I wish she would bring me four more!!! Seriously, I am dazzled at what the two of you did and the fun you had. How did the needle in the foot turn out?Suz P.S. Come and visit our blog, if you wish.
