Petticoats and Parasols Welcoming Night

When we arrived in Savannah, I was so excited. We were quickly greeted by Sherry, Joanna, and Julie Ann. It was so nice to finally meet everyone in person. It was just so great!

When we walked in the doors, we where all snapping photos like crazy! Every thing looked so darn sugary southern sweet! The tables where decked out in beautiful soft colors, feathered fans, and beautiful dress forms with sweet frilly petticoats. Each ladies seat was adored with feathery fans, beautiful name tags, and sponsor gifts galore!

There was a table full of bags filled to the brim with goodies from Rosalyn-Sue's gift bag swap. And the most amazing sweet sugar bar full of super yummy treats!

One of the highlights of the weekend for me was meeting the super sweet talented Hostess Jenn. I am so very excited to have her teaching at my Marie's Danse des Fluers art event, and was so very excited to meet her in person! Jenn you are amazing! I look forward to meeting you again soon.

That night Jenn took us all on a haunted ghost tour in Savannah. This was so very VERY interesting to me. I enjoyed learning more about the history of this beautiful city. As a matter of fact my husband and I are hoping to vacation here one day. I would like to spend some more time learning, and enjoying the sights. It's just all so interesting.

While on the tour, our guide took us to a few locations and told us some pretty interesting stories. He told us to try to take some photos in an effort to capture an image of an orb. Hmmm . . . . . interesting. I dunno

After the tour I went back to the room to go through all my goodies. There where so many pretty things I got on the trip, it is hard to point them all out, but here are a few snap shots of goodies from the trip.

I love this beautiful necklace and charm bracelet from Bryanna!

She also made me this lovely little bracelet from an image of my new Blythe dolly.

Sherry gave me this beautiful necklace. I just love it!

And Joanna gave me all kinds of goodies, including these adorable little charms. I am going to use them to make a bracelet in memory of the event.
