She was created by digitally altering different bits and pieces from different greeting card images. I wanted to have her jointed, but there was no where to do it. SO I decided to give her a little sass. Her skirt splits revealing a little leg and a shorter skirt.
I also decided to give her a bit of a whimsical feel by giving her a top hat and having her balance a tea cup and cupcake. Hmm. . . . perhaps a Alice in Wonderland influence. I am pretty excited to go see the movie!
Lastly I decided to make a little cards that goes with her. Each doll comes with a card that says the following:
If you don't have any plans today, be sure to stop on by! Have a seat on the comfy pink sofa while I make us some tea. Help your self to the cupcakes, they are fresh. I just made them. I hope you like butter cream frosting, because it's my favorite. I got the fresh red roses from the local market. I just love how the sweet fragrance fills the air! I hope you enjoy your visit and stop by again real soon. Love, Mrs Southern Comfort
Thanks so much for stopping by to see my little doll.

Oh my heavens, Cassandra! She is the cutest thing Ive ever seen! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you made her skirt open up for a little bit of sassy. How very creative. I adore her and KNOW your ladies will love them! I love the note, too. Wouldnt it be nice if we COULD just stop for a bit of tea in the afternoon? Ahhhh, the sweet life!
