I don't know why, but I am. Dale is gone all day, and Dylan is in one of his 2 year old "I don't want to cuddle, or play with you" moods. He is Mr. Independent! Does not want mommy to do it, he wants to do it all.
I try to sing, he shakes his head at me. Hmmm . . . . Is my voice that bad lol. I try to add this, move that, ask questions. "Mom just leave me alone." Well, no he can't say it, but his face says it all, and the occasional yell and grunt. So I am feeling a bit blue.
I decided to work on something. Here is a statement necklace I made. It has ribbon roses I made, old millinery, beads, chain, and a few buttons. I thought I would share it with you.
Thanks for visiting.

Absolutely beautiful Cassandra. I really love the way you used the buttons and ribbon up one side of the necklace.

Cassandra,This necklace is absolutely stunning! I love the combination of flowers, jewels and buttons. And as far as Dylan goes, its so hard when our children start learning to be independent. And the worst thing is, it only gets worse. LOL!

Oh I am sorry that you are not feeling well. I know what it is like. Just focus on the truths: your son loves you to death and no one else in the whole world could take your place. He just wants to learn. Thats the way he was made. Your necklace is beautiful and perfect - a small piece of beauty for cloudy day. Thank you for sharing.

Hugs my friend ~ this too shall pass! Winter gets the best of all of us ~ just add water, believe me it works! I used to fill the kitchen sink with water & a little soap, and just let them play...one very cold & dreary winter I pulled the kiddie pool in! I know it makes a mess, but its only water after all!Love the necklace ;)xo Heidi
