It is a little over an hour from my house. I went for the first time back in November and was excited to return. I met my friend Kimberly from Paris Rags there. She had a beautiful booth set up with all sorts of pretty lacey things.
This time she also set up a DRESSING ROOM! How cool it that! I found a couple of tops I really liked including the one I am wearing in the photo below.
(me and Kim)
I thought I would share a few photos of things I found. I got everything at the market, except for the jewelry box. I got that a few days ago on Ebay.
(Kim from Paris Rags)
I thought the day was going to be cold, but boy did it heat up! I started out with a light jacket, but got so very hot I had to change. BUT I guess it could have been too cold, and that would not have been any fun.
Here is a photo of the beautiful curtains and lace Kim had draping for the dressing room.
I got a deal on this adorable vintage waist cincher. It is such a pretty peach color with flowers on the material. I just love it. I had NO CLUE what I would do with it, but I had to have it lol. I think it fits my dress form nicely.
I did not pick this jewelry box up at the flea market, but I did get a good deal on it on ebay. I loved the pink velvet inside. This beautiful velvet ribbon was .50 a yard. I got some in a pretty rose pink, purple, turquoise, champagne, and beige. It's a little stiff, but for .50 who cares! lol I just love the colors.
At Webster flea market I always have good luck finding vintage jewelry. Here the jewelry is just TOO HIGH, but the linens, fabrics, ribbon, and lace are just AMAZING. You can really find some good deals. Above is my collection of pink and peach lace I found.
And more lace! I could probably take over 30 photos alone from this beautiful stack of lace. But I knew there where already so many photos in this post lol. I saw something neat in each and every piece here. I just love it all.
Well, I was there from about 10am until 4:30 pm and I STILL did not see everything. There is just SO MUCH you can't possibly see it all in one day, and I would probably be too sore to make two days out of it. The whole market is up and down large hills. Which can be challenging with a bad knee, but GREAT exercise! Thanks for visiting!

Sure looks like you had a lot of fun, Cassandra. And look at all of those fantabulous finds! Wow! Im jealous. :)
