Normally I have the house decorated and the tree up right after Thanksgiving. Well, this year with everything going on everything kind of got lost it the mix :( It took me 3 days to finally finish the tree.
Normally I have it finished in hours. Dylan was adorable though and helped along the way. We got it up just in time for my husband to leave town for four days.
I was nervous about being alone and filled my schedule up with activities each day so I did not sit home sad. We took daddy to the airport at 5AM and said our goodbyes. We came home and slept, then went out again with a friend for dinner.

The next day was visiting the zoo with MeMa. Saturday my friend Danielle came over to have some mommy chat and play around with some beads.
Sunday Dylan's friend Collin came over to make cookies. The boys liked the dough part better than the decorating part.
They both loved the little candies though. That night I went with Collin's mom to see New Moon for the 3rd time lol.
Monday we picked up daddy, and Wednesday we were off to vacation. We stayed at Disney's The Wilderness Lodge.
(Dylan and Daddy at the resort)
(Dylan LOVED the bed in our room)
WOW it was beautiful. We did not go to the park, just stayed around the resort, and the Orlando area. The resort had beautiful decorations, tons of perfect photo spots. BUT despite all my efforts Dylan would not look at the camera hardly at all!
(This is the best one I could get! And yes that is SHORTS in December. lol)
On vacation we saw the big gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian (we were too busy chasing Dylan and did not get photos). We saw snow at Celebration Orlando (Florida snow that is aka soak bubbles), Dylan loved that.
(those little white puffs are "snow")
We also went to downtown Disney and saw The Frog Princess, and ate at a T-Rex restaurant which was AMAZING.
After we checked out we stopped by a HUGE McDonald's on the way home. It was so neat, and Dylan loved it. We played all kinds of silly games and won enough tickets for a small plastic dino lol. Dylan did not care much for the dino but had a blast with the games.
(Dylan giving Ronald a kiss)
That night when we got home Dylan's MeMa agreed to watch him while Dale and I went to see Avatar. WOW what a great movie! We sat a little too close which made me a bit nauseous. That night when we got home Dylan was sick, and that night around 2am Dale was VERY VERY SICK! It actually scared me how sick Dale was. He was up all night and the next day slept through the whole day. They were both sick ALL WEEK.
(Dylan Christmas morning)
I am happy to say though they are both better now. Christmas morning was a challenge. Dylan woke up cranky lol. He did not really open anything, but the dogs helped him. Haha.
(He LOVES his new train)
Than in the evening we had family over. Dylan did very good with the presents then, and had lots of fun entertaining everyone. Next Saturday we will exchange with my husbands family, Next Tuesday with more of my husbands family, and then 1/25 is Dylan's Birthday! He will be 2! So he will still have lots of presents to practice opening.
(Dylan Christmas Evening)
I did not get everything I wanted done this holiday season, BUT considering 12/19 was one year since my patella dislocation, and last year I was out on the couch for a month before I could even START therapy, I'LL TAKE THIS ANY DAY!
I wish each and everyone of you a HAPPY HOLIDAY!

I think our boys would be the best of friends... JJ got the same train set and has that same devilish little grin... not to mention they are like the 2 cutest little babies ever... xo xo Miss and Love to you and Yours... xoxoxox BryannaPS) John needs to leave soon so we can have our daily chat... lol!!
